Tool Nr. 6 - Persuasion
Nearly every day there comes that magic moment when we have to try to persuade somebody of something. We talk about how to do this more effectively in our basic negotiation course here in Tartu. So how does one become more persuasive? It is both easier and harder than you think. And it may be more science based than we imagine.
Dosh Dosh writes about the mechanics of persuasion in a post about how to influence people online. The author also gives a link to a book by Bob Cialdini called “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion”. The Dosh Dosh post is worth a quick read. I will check out Bob’s book and post on this as soon as I can.
In the meantime, you might think about whether this is a tool that you could use more effectively.
