Good travel writing is hard to find. I mean the stuff that gives you the feel for being somewhere. Not just a few nods to history and the weather with reviews of hotels and restaurants. A real sense of doing something in a remote place while you as reader are just sipping coffee. I got a whiff of this from Beth Kracklauer’s tour of Lincolnshire.
