Life before the ATM was a bit of a pain. One needed cash (credit cards were not so popular yet) but on Friday the banks were jammed up. And if you ran out of cash on Sunday. Oops. Restaurants were not thrilled about accepting checks. ATM’s made getting cash a lot easier. And things got better still when you could pay for most things with a credit or debit card.
But the security aspects of doing credit card transactions is still an inconvenience online. Could this be eliminated? Perhaps — if you buy through an online store that already has your data. Within the walled garden of a site where you are a registered user, you could ust click and and any transaction would be done. Hmmm … and which online outlets have that capacity? Apple and Amazon.
Could this be turned into value? At least one person thinks so.
