Krugman to Leaders “Where are You?”
Not everyone likes or agrees with Paul Krugman. But you have to give him credit. His arguments are logical and he follows them to their ultimate conclusions. He does that in his piece today.
His main point is that economists know what to do about the ongoing high levels of unemployment in Europe and in the US. And they know what to do to prevent the Eurozone from collapsing. These are not really matters for confusion. The problem is more simple. It is a political problem caused by a lack of leadership.
Ouch! It is an interesting case study, I think.
