The music industry is changing and it is changing in some very interesting ways. Perhaps the key change is how next generation “hits” will be generated. In the old days, this was the monopoly of the recording studios or labels. Only they had the muscle to get new musicians to the top of the charts. But these days, there are many more channels, and a global audience waiting. So it is no big surprise that around the globe, people are experimenting with alternatives.
