QuickEd - The 21st Century Skills Curriculum

A trend —-  there is new thinking in how to build a curriculum. It goes like this

The best learning happens … when students learn basic content and processes, such as the rules and procedures of arithmetic, at the same time that they learn how to think and solve problems.

This means a new emphasis on how to teach skills. What skills? How about these —-

creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration

Too bad for us that most adults these days did not learn this way, and do not get life long learning that would help to fill the gap. Time to invest in some new tools to help fill the gap?

Here is the article from WP

FOLLOW - From Knowledge at Wharton —  ”All too often, entrepreneurs come across as rude, dismissive and disrespectful to audiences of potential investors” I would phrase this a bit differently — entreprenneurs too often have not considered that their core business idea is just an invitation to the dance.
